Role Summary
Terra Fertility is seeking a Full-Time (40 hours/week) Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy experience to join our clinical team in Dedham.
This role is heavily focused on high-volume fertility bloodwork and early morning patient monitoring while also supporting physicians and nurses in diagnostic and treatment procedures.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment maintains precision under pressure and delivers compassionate efficient care during high-volume morning monitoring sessions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Phlebotomy & Clinical Monitoring (Primary Focus)
- Perform high-volume phlebotomy for fertility monitoring patients
- Collect label process and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
- Ensure accurate documentation of all specimen collection in EMR
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Support efficient patient flow during early morning monitoring hours
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Greet and room patients in a professional compassionate manner
- Obtain and record vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure height weight)
- Perform urine pregnancy testing and document results in EMR
- Assist providers during procedures including HSGs saline sonograms IUIs and endometrial biopsies
- Prepare and maintain examination and procedure rooms
- Clean package and sterilize instruments using an autoclave with detailed tracking and documentation
- Monitor and order clinical supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow
Administrative & Workflow Support
- Enter clinical documentation accurately and timely in EMR
- Schedule lab tests and assist with follow-up coordination
- Educate patients on procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Monday Friday
- Early mornings required (6:00 AM start time)
- Occasional rotational weekends and holidays as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- $23.00 $30.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- Non-exempt position
- Bonus potential

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification or LPN licensure required
- Phlebotomy certification required
- Documentation of at least 200 successful blood draws -required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
- Ability to work early mornings (6:00 AM start time) MondayFriday
- Proficiency with EMR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Womens Health or fertility experience
- Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform efficiently in high-volume settings
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
