DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and customerfocused Dispatcher to support the Service Department at Horton Automatics of Ontario (HAO). In this role you will serve as a key point of contact for customers responding to inquiries and efficiently scheduling service activities. The Dispatcher plays a vital role in coordinating technicians managing service requests and ensuring timely highquality service delivery.
Responsibilities- Respond to incoming Service Requests phone email or other and enter the relevant information into Service Fusion.
- Dispatch Technicians in Service Fusion.
- Manage the day-to-day workflow for the department and direct the technicians schedules and responsibilities.
- Stay apprised of the Technicians progress during the workday.
- Responsible for managing the relationships of new and existing customers.
- Represent HAO with customers and represent the Company in a professional manner.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Invoicing and pricing (when required).
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Prior experience in the Automatic Door Industry would be an asset.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
