Applications Engineer (55599)

We are hiring a part-time Applications Specialist to work with our Environmental Testing team in both Marietta GA and Huntsville AL. The primary responsibilities of Applications Specialist are interfacing with clients working closely with engineers and Sales to develop custom test protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an initial point of contact for incoming sales leads through inside sales and BDMs
• Ensure that all support documentation is in place for a new project
• Work collaboratively with clients and engineers to develop custom test protocols and provide direction and support to inside sales staff
• Actively manages sales pipeline (including but not limited to follow-ups and status updates on large active proposals)
• Participate in business development efforts such as client visits
• Develop relationships with key clients and effectively communicate ATS full capabilities

Required Education/Experience:

• 2-4 years experience in an environmental testing laboratory environment

Necessary Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills
• Strong understanding of Special Testing techniques
• Basic understanding of environmental simulation and EMI testing techniques
• Self-Motivated
