Job Description
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fuel Yard plant equipment. Performs lower skilled duties involving mechanical and electrical maintenance. Responsible for operating and maintaining stacker/reclaimer conveyors dewatering bins and various other plant systems. Cleaning assigned area
* THIS IS A BARGAINING UNIT POSITION REPRESENTED BY IBEW 2337.
* ROTATING 12 HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE. HOURLY RATE $31.33.
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be willing to work on a rotating 12-hour shift work schedule.
- Good knowledge of basic math reading and writing skills required.
- Ability to use all hand tools and other various tools.
- Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and motor cranes is preferred.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills.
- All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources.
