A Topline Description of the Role - max 1 sentence The Director will be a key contributor within the Real Estate Finance team in Finance Planning & Analytics (FP&A). The individual will support the financial management of the firms approximately $1.9B occupancy expense and partner closely with the Corporate Services real estate team. The role includes supporting technology integrations driving model enhancements and providing analytical insights that guide decision making.

B Standard Description of Division and JA Job Family In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. What youll do in the role:
-Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
-Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area product and/or client segment
-Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
-Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firms values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
>Analyze global corporate real estate portfolio expenses and deliver insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and identify savings opportunities
>Support strategic decision making through detailed financial analysis of real estate transactions including sale/leasebacks dispositions consolidations acquisitions renewals and subleases
>Contribute to the development and maintenance of multi year financial plans for Morgan Stanleys real estate portfolio partnering with Corporate Services to incorporate updated strategic and operating plans D Part 2: Scope of Role What youll bring

What youll bring to the role:
-Advanced understanding of Finance functional area product and/or client segment and technical skills as well as of industry and competitive environment
-Ability to provide positive and constructive
-feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
-Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences and create plans to mitigate those risks
>Bachelors degree or equivalent preferably in Finance or related business field
>Approximately 5-7 years of relevant finance or real estate experience
>Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and investigate key drivers
>Advanced knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
>Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize data for senior stakeholders
>Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams; flexible reliable and proactive
