Location: Copenhagen (hybrid)
Role Summary
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer in Hafnia you will be responsible for continuing the development of our model benchmarking features. This includes your expertise in model measurements and metrics put in the light of different context and testing data you will be critical to build the computer vision standard of tomorrow. You will become a member of our cross-functional team to drive benchmarking services ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.
What you will do
- Extend and maintain an end-to-end CV platform for managing datasets model training benchmarking and model inference.
- You will lead the Design and maintain automated benchmarking for both classical CV models as well as Visual Language models
- Build automated pipelines to manage and test models of all size on real-world and synthetic datasets
- Define evaluation protocols and metrics (accuracy latency throughput robustness fairness drift detection).
- Collaborate with researchers and PhD on model benchmarking
- Compare and benchmark Milestone models third party models foundation models and custom architectures against different baselines.
- Contribute to build visualization that enable other computer vision engineers to monitor performances failures corner cases etc.
What you bring to the team
- Ability to benchmark and profile models: throughput latency memory footprint accuracy and tradeoffs.
- Expertise of model evaluation techniques including error analysis robustness testing and dataset curation.
- Proficiency building automated cloud-based ML pipelines using Sagemaker
- Strong skills in Python and cloud friendly engineering practices (CI/CD containers API integrations).
- Proficient in MLOps principles: reproducibility versioning experiment tracking
- Familiarity with modern model architectures (Transformers diffusion based vision models).
How will you make a difference
- Experience as a computer vision engineering developing model architecture and running training
- Strong Experience with computer vision deep learning frameworks (PyTorch TensorFlow etc.)
- Track record in experimentation iteration and model evaluation
- Proven experience to convert raw numbers into actionable insights for engineers and stakeholders
- Experience working in agile teams and contributing to shared engineering standards
- Experimentation with multi-modal models and AI workflows
