In this role the Field Service Representative (FSR - CT/MR) will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence and meeting the daily service repair needs of Diagnostic Imaging and Clinical equipment.

This role will primarily service hospital and clinic sites in the GTA and surrounding areas

The role requires frequent travel to remote hospitals / clinics within the region and may require occasional overnight time away from a home base. A valid current Canadian drivers license is essential.

The role also requires that the individual selected can travel to and from the USA for training at our healthcare institute.

Off-hours for emergency support and On-Call customer support is required with this role.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site serviceoncustomersinstalledbaseCT/MR equipmentincludingpreventativeand remedialserviceinstallationcalibrationtofactoryandcustomerspecifications.

  • Completionofallrequireddocumentationtomeet customer businessandauditrequirements.

  • Provide technical support outside of normal business hours and be available for call if required.

  • Managerepairpartscycletimestobusinesstargets

  • Maintaindailycommunications withcustomers to ensure resolutionand properfollow-upleadingtocustomersatisfaction.

  • Maintaintoolsandtestequipmentproperly andensuringtheyarecalibrated

  • MeetQualityManagementSystemandEnvironmentHealth andSafety requirements

  • Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis the aid effective problem solving.

  • Participate insalesopportunitiessuchascontract renewals andassist with promoting and implementing revenuegrowth programs.

  • Integrate intothehospitalcultureandwork inconjunctionwithexistinghospitalresources to optimizetheservicedelivery processforequipmentcovered under ourMaintenanceService andStrategic AllianceAgreements.

  • Develop an advisoryandconsultativerolewithyourprimaryassignedhospitals.

  • Provide full and timely communication with customer field and account management teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • TechnicalDiplomaor Degree inElectronics or Biomedical Engineering orequivalent experience or training.

  • Minimum of two years post graduate experience in field service.

  • Candidateshould haveaproventrack record of superior customer serviceskills and the abilitytoeffectively communicateacrossmultiplelevels bothinternallyand externally.

  • Demonstratedcustomercontact / empathy / serviceexperience and the ability to communicatecomplex technicalissuesinan easy-to-understandmanner.

  • Demonstrated technicalandtroubleshootingskills

  • Exceptionalinterpersonalskills and organizational skills

  • Boundaryless behaviour able to work with a diverse team across multiple functions

  • Strong ability to executeindependent judgment in support of a team.

  • Ability toworkindependentlyofdirectsupervision

  • Experiencerespondingeffectivelyto customerconcerns

  • Musthavea validCanadian drivers license.

  • Required documentation includes a valid Canadian passport for cross-border business travel at the time of application.

  • Willingness to be available after hours or work a rotating On-Call schedule including weekends for critical issues and coverage as necessary.

Special Physical Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to lift carry push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend stoop twist climb crouch/squat kneel/crawl sit and stand for long periods of time.

  • Candidate must also be able to reach at above and below shoulder level flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception.

Desired Characteristics

  • ExperienceservicingGEHealthCareequipment (MRI & CT ) is preferred

  • Networking skills and qualifications e.g. CCNA.

  • Cyber Security skills
