40% - Course Curriculum and Catalog Management:- Lead the management of the Universitys course curriculum system overseeing the creation revision and continuous maintenance of all course offerings.
- Provide technical guidance on curriculum proposals course inventory management and system workflows leveraging expertise in student information systems and curriculum management tools.
- Collaborate on the coordination of annual updates to the University catalog.
- Supervise curriculum creation workflows ensuring accurate entry of new revised and discontinued courses into institutional databases.

30% - Transfer Credit:- Serve as the primary contact for academic units facilitating equitable and comprehensive evaluations for transfer credit supporting students to ensure prior learning is applied effectively toward degree requirements.
- Develop reports and identify metrics to assess the effectiveness of operations providing recommendations for unit leadership.
- Maintain and update transfer credit resources including publications and the CredTran system providing clear accurate information to prospective and current students.
- Support recruitment and orientation programs targeted at transfer students.
- Collaborate on the strategy implementation and data-driven assessment of KU and Kansas Board of Regents policies including reverse transfer agreements dual admission programs articulation agreements and Credit for Prior Learning (AP CLEP IB).
- Serve on KU and KBOR committees as needed related to transfer credit.
- Manage ImageNow workflow for transfer credit evaluation and processing including troubleshooting workflow design testing and implementation.
- Advise internal stakeholders on transfer and articulation policies and best practices.
25% - Supervision and Leadership:- Supervise a team of five staff providing guidance coaching performance evaluation and professional development.
- Manage programmatic and project functions related to curriculum and transfer credit ensuring alignment with unit goals and the Universitys strategic priorities.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies based on organizational needs ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Implement strategies for the curriculum and transfer credit units monitoring progress and making data-driven adjustments.
- Represent the Office of the University Registrar to academic units faculty students and other stakeholders acting as a subject matter expert in curriculum and transfer credit processes.

Position OverviewThe Office of the University Registrar reports to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management which includes the following functional units: Office of Undergraduate Admissions Financial Aid and Scholarships Student Information Systems and the Office of the University Registrar.
The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is responsible for catalog and course scheduling room reservations student enrollment tuition and fee assessment production and maintenance of the academic record including the official academic transcript enrollment certification graduation and diploma production.
The Assistant University Registrar for Curriculum and Transfer Courses lead the Universitys curriculum and transfer credit operations ensuring the accuracy integrity and continuous improvement of course offerings catalog content and transfer credit evaluation. The role oversees the curriculum management system and master course inventory supports annual catalog updates and ensures compliance with institutional and state policies. It also serves as the primary institutional resource for transfer credit strategy and evaluation supporting transfer student success through clear policy guidance data-driven assessment and collaboration with academic units and system addition the position provides supervision and leadership for staff advances process improvements and represents the Office of the University Registrar as a subject matter expert across curriculum and transfer credit functions.
