Long-Term Substitute Personal Care Attendant

Two Rivers Supervisory Union is currently seeking a caring patient and dependable individual to serve as a Long-Term Substitute Preschool Personal Care Attendant at Ludlow Elementary School. This position supports a preschool student in a 1:1 capacity and is an essential member of the early childhood educational are looking for a team member who demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong commitment to supporting young learners. The ideal candidate will possess patience creativity flexibility dependability consistency and a willingness to learn and implement new skills. The ability to follow detailed educational behavioral and personal care plans is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong collaborative skills and a readiness to engage in problem-solving as an active member of the educational include:Provide 1:1 support to a preschool student including assistance with personal care needs as requiredObserve the students performance and collect relevant data to monitor progressImplement individualized education and behavioral plans with fidelityCollaborate with classroom teachers special educators therapists and other team members to coordinate instructional and developmental supportsSupport the student in developing social communication self-regulation and early learning skillsEnsure the students safety at all times in classrooms hallways cafeteria playground gymnasium and during transitionsRide the school bus with the student to and from school to ensure safety and provide consistent support during transportationAssist with bus loading and unloading as neededInstruct and monitor the student in the safe use and care of classroom materials and equipmentEnforce school and district policies and proceduresAttend staff meetings trainings and consultations as requiredMaintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards of conductPerform other duties as assignedThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable working closely in a 1:1 setting with a preschool-aged child. This is a full-time long-term substitute position and hours may include participation in meetings consultations and professional development activities.
