Job Summary

We enable teams to contribute access analyze and learn from Weblab data at scale and expand the lessons learned from experiments across the company. Learning is using prior experience to improve so we use the data from past experiments to improve how experimentation is done at Amazon. We focus on data tools and analyses that apply across many experiments though we may build products that can be used with individual experiments as well.

A day in the life
Were going to help Amazon make better decisions by empowering analyses for A/B-testing in Weblab systems to help teams make data driven decisions for their experiments. We will help Amazonians make the right decisions for our customers combining science experimentation and data driven-decision making. Our work will inform some of the biggest decisions at Amazon.

About the team
We have decades of combined experience on the team in many areas of science and engineering so its a great environment in which to learn and grow. A/B testing is one of the hottest areas of research and development in the world today and this is a chance to learn how it works in the company known for pioneering its use.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or equivalent
- Knowledge of system performance memory management and parallel computing principles

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
