Performance Data Analyst Apprentice

• Support the team with data checks and performance calculations across key systems such as Aladdin Accounting and FactSet learning how performance data is produced and verified.

• Help deliveraccurateandtimelyperformance reports andexpostrisk information by working closely with colleagues and following established processes.

• Assistwith the teams Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) activities gaining an understanding of how industry standards are applied in practice.

• Work with the Head of Performance Capability and Solutions to support the design and improvement of performance tools and processes used across the asset management platform.

• Help reconcile performance figures between custodians performanceenginesand attribution systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Respond toadhocinformation requests from Fund Managers Client Directors Investment Specialists Investment Risk Sales & Marketing and Clients with support from experienced team members.

• Work alongside Operational teams and IT to help ensurehighqualitydata flows into performance and attribution systems.

• Contribute to small projects aimed at improving accuracyefficiencyand ways of working within the team.

• Support the maintenance of good working relationships with internal teams to help ensure performance outputs meet business needs.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders including Risk and control teams to help uphold a strong control environment.

• Stay curious about industry developments regulatorythemesand business trends and use learning opportunities to grow your understanding.

What will I need to be successful in this role

• A high levelof accuracy and strong attention to detail.

• An analytical mindset with solidproblemsolvingskills.

• Strong capability in data manipulation withproficiencyin Excel and familiarity with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau; knowledge of SQL or Python is an advantage.

• Confident written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to build andmaintainproductive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Confidence in managing processes and coordinating activities across different teams.

• A strong focus on customer service and stakeholder needs.

• An organisedproactiveand structured approach to work.

• The ability to balancedaytodaytasks alongside completing an apprenticeship qualification.

• A solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Word Excel Power BIPowerPointand Outlook.

• A genuine interest in usingtechnologyledsolutions to improve access to performance data and support the functions development.

• A logicalanalyticaland curious approach supported by the drive to learn and grow.

MinimumRequirements

• Available to start the apprenticeship programme in September 2026

• You must not be enrolled into another further education programme at the beginning of the programme

• Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK

• Living inEngland

• Minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE English and Mathematics

• Minimum of Grade C in Three A-Levels or equivalent such as BTEC Nationals

Training Provided

AsaPerformanceDataAnalystApprentice with M&G you will undertaketheData AnalystLevel4 Apprenticeship.The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning pre-recorded lectures and face to face inductions and masterclasses

Future Prospects

This is a fixed term contract for18- 23months upon which the business may decide toretain subject to the Apprentice performance headcount and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.
