Job Description:

Investigative Pathology is an integrated part of the Preclinical Sciences and Toxicological Safety organization within Johnson and this role the intern will be provided hands-on experience with histological sample preparation techniques such microtomy and H&E staining performance of immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization assays and cell culture while learning about lab operations.

The intern will complete a guided end-of-summer project and scientific poster presentation with the aim of developing an end-to-end histological process while gaining exposure to lab operations to support various functions across Johnson & Johnson. The project will entail learning histological techniques searching literature/databases to find appropriate antibodies culturing cell line controls and optimizing assay conditions.

Current undergraduate students (cannot be graduating before the conclusion of the internship) working towards a degree in Biology or Biochemistry.
