OVERVIEW
As the Store Planner you will sit at the intersection of data strategy and storytelling translating complex inventory and assortment insights into clear confident decisions that set new stores up for success and drive long-term close partnership with cross-functional teams you will develop and manage store plans that align with brand strategy while maximizing sales and profitability. You bring a continuous improvement mindset consistently looking for opportunities to refine processes tools and methodologies. Above all you will serve as a trusted strategic partner to Merchandising Buying Allocations and Store Operations driving alignment unlocking inventory opportunities and keeping the business moving forward with clarity and purpose.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the execution of strategic inventory and planning initiatives for new store openings.
- Develop new store opening plans blending allocation expertise with product insights and store layout considerations.
- Analyze data build comprehensive reports and translate insights into actionable data-driven strategies.
- Lead regional climate-based and store-specific inventory strategies to optimize sales performance and inventory productivity.
- Determine optimal choice counts inventory levels and assortment strategies to maximize unit productivity across diverse store profiles.
- Leverage regional trends consumer behavior and financial analytics to deliver tailored inventory recommendations that support store growth.
- Build cross-functional partnerships that foster collaboration capitalize on inventory opportunities and support long-term stakeholder relationships.
- Partner and oversee the exit strategy of seasonal phase-out inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA Degree
- 4 years of experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong aptitude for numbers and advanced retail math skills
- Ability to lead cross functional discussions positively influence others and gain alignment
- Advanced analytical and presentation skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Ability to extract data from multiple platforms
- Tableau and Invent Analytics experience a plus
The base salary range for this position is $95000 - $105000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. As such on occasion and when applicable there is the possibility that the final agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the companys total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses long term incentives a PTO policy and many other progressive benefits.
