The Job

***This recruitment is open only to current San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department Captains.***

The Sheriffs Department is accepting applications for Sheriffs Deputy Chiefs who direct and coordinate the activities of a bureau of operating divisions detention facilities and/or stations. This recruitment will result in a new list of eligible candidates to replace the existing list of candidates.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Applicants must be currently employed in a regular full-time position with the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department as a Sheriffs Captain and have at least one (1) year of experience in said position as of the filing deadline.

NOTE: On your application clearly differentiate between Captain experience and prior experience.
