Job Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Revit / BIM Modeller to join a dynamic structural engineering team in Durban. This role offers involvement in highend commercial residential and industrial building projects with exposure to a wide range of complex structural designs.
Job Description:
- Produce highquality structural models and drawings using Revit
- Assist engineers in the development of BIM models technical details and project documentation
- Coordinate with the structural engineering team to ensure accurate interpretation of design requirements
- Support project delivery by maintaining updated models throughout all design stages
- Participate in project meetings and assist with design coordination
- Contribute to project planning and maintain project documentation in line with BIM standards
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 25 years relevant experience as a Structural Revit / BIM Modeller
- Solid and proven exposure to Revit software (essential)
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Competent experience working on building structures including:
- Large retail shopping centres
- Commercial office buildings with deep basements
- Highrise apartment buildings
- Residential developments and luxury homes
- Industrial distribution centres and factories
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment
Qualification:
- BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
