IT Applications Director Finance HR and Corporate Systems
SUMMARY:
The IT Applications Director for Finance HR and Corporate Systems will lead the strategic planning implementation and management of enterprise applications supporting finance human resources and other corporate functions. This role ensures that technology solutions align with businessobjectives improve operational efficiency and support compliance and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the IT applications strategy for Finance HR and corporate systems in alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders toidentifytechnology needs and prioritize initiatives.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize andoptimizeenterprise applications.
Application Management
- Oversee the deployment maintenance and support of core enterprise systems Finance HRISIncentive Management and other corporate applications.
- Ensure system integrations across Finance HR and other corporate platforms are seamless and secure.
- Manageinternal software development initiativesand vendor relationships.
Team Leadership
- Lead mentor and develop a team of application managersproduct owners andengineeringresources.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement collaboration and customer service excellence within the applications team.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure applicationscomply withregulatory requirements internal controls and audit standards.
- Establish and enforce IT policies procedures and best practices for application management.
Budget and Vendor Management
- Develop and manage budgets related to Finance HR and corporate systems applications.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for application availability performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or related field;Mastersdegree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in IT application management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing enterprise Finance and HR systems such as SAP Oracle Workday PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of business processes in Finance HR and corporate functions.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and SaaS solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting Finance and HR systems (e.g. SOX GDPR).
