ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on intellectual property (IP) matters to Honeywells business units and senior management.
- Manage and oversee the protection and enforcement of Honeywells IP rights including patents trademarks copyrights and trade secrets.
- Draft review and negotiate IP-related agreements including licensing agreements technology transfer agreements and joint development agreements.
- Conduct IP due diligence for mergers acquisitions and other IP business transactions.
- Provide IP training to mitigate risks.
- Manage and oversee the work of external IP counsel.
QualificationsYOU MUSTHAVE
- License to practice as a lawyer in a major legaljurisdiction.
- License to practice before the USPTO
- A minimum of 8 years oflegalexperience in intellectual propertyat a leadinglaw-firmand/or in-house experience.
- Extensive intellectual property experience with an emphasis on domestic and international portfolio development and providing proactive recommendations to mitigate IP risks.
- Good understanding of IP technology transactions including IP licensing joint development agreements and mergers and acquisitions.
