We are seeking a highly technical and visionary Principal Architect Analytics AI/ML Platform Engineering. This individual contributor role demands deep expertise in designing developing and managing data and analytics platforms across multi-cloud hybrid infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist with a strong background in cloud-native architectures data engineering and platform scalability.
What Youll Bring:
Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration: Docker Kubernetes.
Experience with data lake and data warehouse technologies: Snowflake BigQuery Redshift Azure Synapse.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks: Apache Airflow dbt Informatica.
Proficiency in programming languages: Python Java Scala SQL.
Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks: Apache Spark Hadoop.
Experience with real-time data streaming: Apache Kafka AWS Kinesis Azure Event Hubs.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools: Collibra Alation.
Understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
15 years of experience in data engineering and platform development.
Proven track record of building and scaling data platforms in multi-cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Impact Youll Make:
Architect and implement scalable data and analytics platforms across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Lead the design and development of cloud-native data pipelines storage solutions and analytics services.
Ensure high availability performance and security of data platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Establish best practices for data governance metadata management and data quality.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Drive automation and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data services.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168750.00 - $281250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience job-related skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan.
