Job Summary
The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon ecosystem which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazons reach and expertise. EPR Services on Amazon aims to dramatically transform the way Sellers can fulfil their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance obligations in the EU in order to keep selling on Amazon. EPR is an environmental policy that makes Sellers who first places a product subject to EPR requirements in a country responsible for the entire life cycle of the products that they introduce on the market from their design until the end of life.
As a Product Ops Manager on the Pay on Behalf team you will help us set up the product operations needed to ensure compliance reporting and payments for our Sellers. The role will involve working with product tech business legal compliance authorities and fees stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Design implement and own mechanisms to monitor seller journey and interaction with our product to ensure delivery on metrics goals and team projects.
- Work closely with product team and key stakeholders to conceptualize and implement key features and processes for improving seller experience and achieving business goals.
- Actively seek ways to improve product related process efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Proactively identify gaps or blockers to seller experience propose solutions and drive implementation across partner teams.
- Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce retail technology SaaS) or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries
- Experience in program or project management including the delivery of cross-functional projects
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) or experience in tax finance or a related analytical field
- Experience working with legal product and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Experience with web-based applications and HTTP or experience in technical support
- Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment
