About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager with significant GST expertise to join our Indirect Tax team in Perth working directly under the guidance of a new this role you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary group of tax professionals who possess outstanding technical and industry knowledge. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape and grow the Indirect Tax practice from the ground up advance your career in GST/indirect taxes and develop a diverse set of skills while delivering solutions to clients.
Candidates with experience in fuel tax and/or state taxes will also have the opportunity to further develop this area of specialisation as part of the expanding team.
In this role you will be given the opportunity to:
Learn about your clients the industry in which they work and their business objectives while developing your client management skills
Work with an inclusive and collaborative team with license to be curious and creative
Provide advice on cutting edge indirect tax issues to a prestigious client base
Develop technical expertise across a variety of indirect taxes

Undertake relevant postgraduate study in accounting and/or law (including practical legal training)
About You
A minimum of 2 years of work experience within professional services law firm or a regulatory environment (Government or Industry).
Tertiary qualification in Accounting Business or Law
Demonstrated experience working in a Professional Services Legal firm or the ATO
Excellent client advisory and communication skills
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team
Australian/NZ Citizenship Australian/NZ Permanent Residency or fulltime working rights
