Community Medical and Dental Care is seeking an experienced Family Pediatric or Specialty Nurse Practitioner. for a full-time or part-time position. We offer a very competitive hourly rate and a wonderful working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Workcollaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patients.
- Performassessment and treatment of acute injuries infections and illnesses.
- Prescribeand interpretappropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities.
- Keepand maintainappropriate records relating to all professional services rendered.
- Prepareand reviewreports claims and correspondences. Ensurethat records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Providein-office and telemedicine services topatients.
- Prescribemedication and treatment for patients.
- Recommendappropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Referpatients to other physicians or appropriate resources when needed.
- Follow up on all outside referrals labs and consults.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience of at least 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to establish a healthy rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to independently evaluate patients establish differential diagnoses order necessary tests/investigations as appropriate and formulate treatment plans.
- Practice evidence-based medicine and update medical knowledge based on the latest treatment guidelines and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
