As a highly valued member of the Forney TX Team this role willsupport the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere provide vision and demonstrate support of the companys core processes.
AS A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR YOU WILL:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are consistently met
- Lead motivate and develop shipping and receiving associates through coaching training and performance management
- Manage order selection replenishment and loading activities across all product lines
- Champion a safety-first culture ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround time and streamline workflows
- Monitor and control labor and supply costs to meet budget targets
- Ensure proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment including powered industrial trucks
- Review documentation for accuracy and oversee inbound/outbound logistics processes
- Analyze WMS data to assess productivity and guide team performance against KPIs
- Lead monthly reporting and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs) including delivery metrics inventory accuracy safety and people
- Support special projects and initiatives assigned by the Operations Manager
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Two plus (2) years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role within a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) shipping/receiving and inventory control
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop benchmarks and KPIs
- Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example and train others
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. sponsorship is not available for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelors degree in business Supply Chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
- Knowledge of ISO QMS
