Codeworks an LRS company is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Developer III to support data warehousing initiatives and contribute to the design development testing maintenance and implementation of enterprise data solutions. This role involves working closely with technical teams and business partners to understand requirements and deliver highquality reliable data integrations.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing developing maintaining and testing ETL processes metadata and data warehouse components.
- Interpret user and business requirements to create highquality scalable data solutions.
- Develop ETL mapping specifications and ensure reliability accuracy and performance of data loads.
- Participate in performance optimization and tuning across data warehouse environments.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business units to recommend and implement data solutions.
- Support documentation efforts including internal knowledge base materials and technical specifications.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities such as test plans test cases defect identification and process improvement.
Requirements
- 4 of experience or equivalent education in data warehousing or related data engineering roles
- Moderate experience with data warehouse process design development performance tuning and Informatica toolsets
- Working knowledge of relational database platforms such as Oracle DB2 or SQL Server
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and data management
- Understanding of data integration architectures and strategies
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling
- Skills in working with slowly changing dimensions
- Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical partners
- Experience with software development life cycle processes
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills
The base range for this contract position is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations.
