Job Summary: The Med-Surg/ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a mixed acuity setting managing both medical-surgical and critical care populations while utilizing advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and critically ill patients.
Administer medications IV therapies and sedation as prescribed.
Monitor patient status interpret clinical data and respond to changes in condition.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience.
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience.
Experience in Med/Surg ICU MICU CCU PCU or Step-Down units preferred.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Certifications
AHA BLS.
AHA ACLS.

License
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
