Cinfed is searching for aCollector Ibased in Cincinnati OH at ourOakley Headquarters.

Essential Functions Include:

Performing collection activities associated with delinquent member accounts including consumer loans credit cards mortgages and home equity lines of credit
Performing collections efforts in accordance with credit union policies and procedures and ensures they are legally compliant.
Contacting members to resolve problems with accounts in accordance with established procedures.
Determining reasons for delinquencies and works toward permanent solutions.
Keeping accurate records of arrangements promise to pay dates and cause of delinquency problem.

Required Experience:

High school education or GED
Six months of similar or related experience is required
Prior experience in Consumer and Mortgage collections is preferred
Must havea thorough understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Act and state and federal laws concerning collection activities

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8-6 and Saturdays 9-1 (rotating).
