ROLE SUMMARY:

TheDistiller Iis responsible forassistingin thedaily production including mashes fermentations distillations dilutions barreling proofingand theproductionofnon-alcoholic mixers including Bloody Mary mix and ready-to-enjoy responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness and overall sanitization of distilling equipment and Iaids in thedaily record keeping of production activities as required by StateFederalandothercertifying position worksunder the loose general direction of theOperationsSupervisor. This position isessential forproductsmanufactured inthedistilleryand food grade production area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistin the production ofnon-alcoholicmixers and RTE cocktails.

• Clean and sanitize distilling equipment.

• Implement daily SOPs.

• Ensuredistilling andfiltrationquality standards are met.

• Managedistillingand CIP timing to ensure shortest cycle times.

• Properlyuse of PPE and safety protocols fordistilling and cleaning.

• Coordinate with QA staff on product checks.

• Maintain a clean and organizeddistillery and food grade facility.

• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Systems Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Assistin the proofingand blending ofspirits to specifications.

• Assistin the preparation ofbotanicals for gindistillation.

• Verify by instrumentation theproof/% alcohol color clarity sugar content preservativestemperaturesand pH ondistilledproducts.

• Communicate with various team members aboutqualityissues and enforcing all relevantquality procedures.

• Understands and employs aSafety-Firstapproach.

• Ability tomaintaina Food Handlers Certification.

• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work independently as well asstrong teamorientation and ability to work with diversegroupof individuals.

• Mustsuccessfully use simple math multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers commonfractionsand decimals.

• Ability tooperatelaboratory instruments.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Scheduling flexibility--ability to work a variety of shifts and availability on weekendsand nights/overnights.

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Must be at least 21 years of age

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in a productionbrewery/distillery (or beverage manufacturing plant) or equivalent education (Certificate in Brewing or Distilling and/or BS in related field).

• Working knowledge of the brewing/distilling process (preferred).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must have andmaintaina valid drivers license and safe driving record
