MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is looking for a Locum Hematologist Oncologist to fill their need!

Schedule:
Patient Contact Hours: Variable
Schedule: Mon-Thurs (most likely)
Shifts per month: 16
Shift length: 8 hours
Clinic hours: 0800-1630
On Call: potentially one week and one weekend per month. Phone calls only.

Inpatient Responsibilities: yes MO Cedar Falls Medical Center - Very infrequent that you would need to go to the hospital for a consult.
Hospitalists admit all patients. Physicians typically just field phone calls from hospitalists.

Job Responsibilities: Consults follow up care oversee administration of antineoplastics in the clinic.
Number of Advanced Practice Provider: 2
Supervision of APP expected: No
Nursing Support Ratio: 2 nurses /1 provider along with referral and triage nurses
Ancillary Staff per provider: Reception lab social worker referrals dietician
Services offered in the practice: Antineoplastics phlebotomies IV IgG iron therapy bone marrow biopsies.

Travel Reimbursement:
Flights - $750/round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees). No upgraded airfares or seat upgrades
Lodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay (to include taxes and fees)
Rental Car - $55/day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather)
Mileage - IRS Standard Rate

Requirement description :
Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
Active IA License or Active IMLC (please upload LOQ at time of name clear) - REQUIRED
Must be Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
Must be available Full time (Mon-Thurs) - please note at time of name clear - REQUIRED
Must be experienced - HIGHLY PREFERRED - will also review new grads
Provider must be able to do MUA - please note at time of name clear - REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice/Background - REQUIRED - please upload Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) at time of presentation

Weekend Requirements : Yes - one wekend per month
