Job Title: Senior Training Specialist / Instructional Designer ERP (PeopleSoft Financials - 14yrs)
Location: AustinTX (Remote)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities Training Program Development & Strategy
-
Design and implement comprehensive role-based ERP training programs aligned to financial business areas
-
Develop curricula aligned with system functionality business processes and regulatory requirements
-
Plan and deliver classroom training web-based training multimedia learning programs and computer-aided instruction
-
Manage training initiatives in alignment with business goals and Quality Management standards
-
Research and recommend training tools vendors and cost-effective solutions
Instructional Design & Content Development
-
Develop accessibility-compliant role-based training materials from inception to delivery
-
Participate in system design and testing activities to ensure training content accuracy
-
Create instructor materials including course outlines guides exercises simulations and training aids
-
Develop content for COTS products ERP systems and internal IT solutions
-
Produce desktop support documentation (e.g. remote access procedures)
-
Structure complex subject matter into clear organized instructional units
-
Design graphics and integrate engaging learning elements into curriculum
-
Assist with formatting and refining materials developed by team members
Delivery & Facilitation
-
Deliver instructor-led classroom and virtual training sessions
-
Facilitate asynchronous eLearning and multimedia-based programs
-
Teach technical courses based on approved curriculum
-
Incorporate curriculum updates with real-world practical examples
-
Serve as testing officer when required including test analysis and instructional effectiveness evaluations
Collaboration & Program Support
-
Work collaboratively with cross-functional training teams
-
Translate technical information into user-friendly materials for diverse audiences
-
Conduct training needs assessments and audience analysis
-
Maintain and update training SharePoint sites
-
Utilize Microsoft Teams for large-team collaboration
-
Support productivity reporting and continuous training improvements
-
Stay current with emerging instructional technologies and modern learning approaches
Accessibility & Compliance
-
Develop training materials aligned with accessibility standards
-
Apply knowledge of EIR accessibility requirements and assistive technologies
-
Communicate effectively with individuals requiring special assistance
Required Qualifications
-
Strong experience developing training programs for ERP systems
-
Proven expertise in creating accessibility-compliant training content
-
Hands-on experience with eLearning development tools
-
Practical experience working with PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM 9.2)
-
Proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio)
-
Experience using Microsoft Teams in large-team channel-based collaboration environments
-
Experience maintaining and updating SharePoint sites
