DescriptionThe Challenge
As aMaintenance & Safety Coordinator (Gatekeeper) you play a key role in ensuring that all work on our production assets is executed safely efficiently and in line with the right technical and safety standards. You bring structure to notifications priorities and planning; you safeguard budgets; and you ensure installations are safely released and available at the right time.
In this dynamic position you connect Operations Maintenance Logistics Planning and external contractorswhile continuously driving improvements in safety reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine whether issues should be resolved viaDo MaintenanceorImprove Plant and initiate or support improvement initiatives.
- Manage and prioritize all maintenance notifications:
- assess categorize and prioritize based on value and urgency;
- delegate smaller tasks to Production where appropriate;
- collaborate with work planners to reduce backlog
- escalate highvalue work orders when needed.
- Monitor the backlog of plannable maintenance and keep it at an acceptable level.
- Align asset availability with the planner/scheduler and approve weekly and daily schedules in coordination with Logistics and Operations.
- Ensure a safe handover and start of work by preparing (or ensuring preparation of) work permits risk assessments and LOTOTO procedures.
- Approve highrisk permits and bypasses in line with procedures as an operational expert.
- Guard all activities within the maintenance budget and together with plant management within the production budget.
- Monitor resource KPIs (FTEs) in relation to production needsincluding planning training identifying gaps and adjusting where required.
- Evaluate and continuously improve the processesDo MaintenanceImprove Plant andOperate Plant Normal.
- Work according to EnvaliorsLife Saving RulesandSHEQ principles and actively promote safe behavior across the site.
- Participate in the oncall duty rotation.
RequirementsBackground & Experience
- Professional experience in a production/plant environment (e.g. operations maintenance reliability work preparation or shutdown/turnaround activities).
- Strong safety mindset and proven history of working according to SHEQ procedures.
- Experience with work permits risk assessments and LOTOTO or willingness to acquire this quickly.
- Ability to prioritize based on value risk and planning requirements while maintaining oversight in a highworkload environment.
- Strong communicator: clear confident and collaborative across multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working with contractors and internal stakeholders including documenting and communicating agreements effectively.
