ACC is a trusted and high-performing organisation providing care supporting recovery and promoting injury prevention now and into the future.

The Workplace Integrity team provides ongoing support and continuous improvement of ACCs integrity framework and are focused on delivering an uplift in integrity management capability across ACC.

About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

As the Lead Advisor Workplace Integrity you will play a key role in strengthening ACCs integrity culture. A significant focus of the role is on building capability- developing and delivering education programmes uplifting understanding of integrity expectations and supporting kaimahi and leaders to navigate integrity issues with confidence. Youll also help maintain and improve core integrity functions including the management of declarations of interest policy and process development and the provision of clear practical guidance that supports consistent and transparent decision making.

While investigations form an important part of the role they are not the sole focus. You will provide expert advice and oversight to ensure that ACCs approach to internal investigations including matters involving misconduct unethical behaviour internal fraud and Protected Disclosures reflects best practice.

Alongside this you will contribute to the leadership of the Workplace Integrity function by coaching others supporting team development and driving strategic and continuous improvement initiatives. Through this combination of capability building advisory support and relationship building you will help embed a strong and sustainable foundation for integrity across ACC.

This role can be based in Wellington or Auckland (Newmarket).

The base salary for this role is $117787 - $166288 depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

About you Mōu

Youll bring a can-do attitude credibility excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and care. Youll also be committed to continuous improvement and capable of influencing positive change.

Were looking for:

  • Experience in employment relations HR investigations criminal or regulatory investigations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the Protected Disclosures Act integrity frameworks and ethical conduct principles.
  • Proven ability to analyse evidence identify systemic issues and provide clear recommendations.
  • Excellent written verbal and listening skills including writing high-quality reports.
  • High level ofinitiativeattention to detail strong critical thinking and sound judgement.
  • Experience working in complex environments; public sector experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive matters supported by excellent interpersonal relationshipbuilding and networking skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR law criminology public administration or related discipline; or extensive comparable experience.
  • The ability to gain and maintain a national security clearance to Level Secret / Top Secret.
