Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree or completion of a District recognized Apprentice Program.
- Two (2) years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure design and management or a District recognized Apprentice Program.
- Valid Florida drivers license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in information systems computer science programming or a related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure design and management.
- Advanced industry certifications in software development.
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy required qualifications..
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; analytical organizational and prioritization skills; flexibility and adaptability in dealing with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of and experience using multiple project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
- Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle up to and including large vans or (non-commercial) delivery trucks.

- Assist with the development of software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis problem definition requirements solution development and proposed solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation flowcharts layouts diagrams charts code comments and clear code.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Provide information by collecting analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.
- Implement standards for source code documentation application change management and application documentation.
- Participate in efforts to increase team effectiveness by identifying and implementing best practices and identifying systems and toolsets that increase functionality productivity and compliance.
- Complete and maintain industry- and manufacturer-specific technical certifications.
- Maintain the confidentiality of records and District information in accordance with state and federal laws and Board policy.
