About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12. We also have an 18-22 year old transition program for young adults with special needs.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research basedintervention and support according to Individualized Education Program plans;and providing education and direction to school staff family and related service providers regarding the students communication needs. Speech-Language Pathologists are district-wide employees but generally assigned to one or two main school buildings.
Start date:August 24 2026 (plus new-to-district teacher orientation during the week prior to August 24 2026)
FTE: Full-and Part-Time Options Available
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 or 3 days of new-to-district orientation depending on the Department of Teaching & Learnings requirements for this position)
Salary:
Starting salary range $48292-$90967 forfull 1.0 FTE position; actual salary determined pro rata based on the FTE ultimately hired for. For more information please see theCertified Master Contract 2025-2027.

Full-time (1.0 FTE)certified staff benefits apply to 1.0 FTE hires. Contribution rates for less than 1.0 FTE positions can be found under the Teachers heading onourBenefits Certified Master Contract 2025-2027.
Requirements & Qualifications
Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from an ASHA accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
