The Behavioral Health department at Holy Cross Hospital West Valley is a compassionate and supportive haven for individuals seeking healing and respite. With 26 beds dedicated to our patients well-being we offer a nurturing environment where every individual is treated with utmost care and dignity. Within our unit we have 4 specialized high acuity beds ensuring that those in need of intensive care receive the focused attention and comprehensive treatment they require. Additionally our main unit consists of 22 beds allowing us to cater to a diverse range of behavioral health needs.

Our team is composed of experienced mental health professionals including psychiatrists nurses and therapists who collaboratively ensure comprehensive care. The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the inpatient behavioral health unit. The role functions include management of human fiscal material support and systems resources while achieving and maintainingthe goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or departments daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- 3 years RN experience required
- 1-year clinical leadership experience required
- High School GED required
- A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN) required
- Masters Degree preferred
- Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable required
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.
- Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved
Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
