The Records Management team at Merri-bek City Council are transforming developing skills and capability to better respond to customer expectations recordkeeping best practice and compliance requirements. Providing key records management services to Council including records registration digitisation and electronic document management advice and support.
The Records Officer role will assist in the registration of electronic & hardcopy correspondence records retrieval back scanning & classification of documents into Councils electronic document management system (Content Manager). Responding to customer queries and operating scanning equipment the role will utilise advanced computer skills and a strong attention to detail when registering into the corporate records management system. The role will be an important contributing member of the Records Management team and report to the Coordinator Records and Information Management.
