Job Summary
Refrigeration Technician
- Harrisonburg VA (Relocation Assitance Offered)
- 1st and 3rd shift available 6am - 6pm 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 schedule)
- Food Production Company
- $30 - $45 /hour DOE
- Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours
We are working with an established food processing company based in**Harrisonburg VA.**They are recruiting for multiple**Refrigeration Technician**to join their team during their 1st and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of**$30 - $45 /hour**along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K Healthcare Vision and Dental PTO and Life Assurance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining troubleshooting and repairing the refrigeration systems in the plant
- Working with ammonia refrigeration systems and repairing system components
- Working with/maintaining spiral freezers Cryovac
- Reading of gauges and instruments
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Monitoring operation of equipment
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and materials
Qualifications & Experience required:
- 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems maintenance
- Experience with compressors condensers evaporators and other ammonia refrigeration components
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems plumbing and controls related to refrigeration
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
