Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our manufacturing operations through the setup and operation of both manual and CNC machining equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with precision machining strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality parts to print specifications.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our manufacturing operations through the setup and operation of both manual and CNC machining equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with precision machining strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality parts to print specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up program and operate a Milltronics MB-20 CNC mill
- Set up and operate a Bridgeport knee mill manual lathe and surface grinder
- Operate H&S flange facing machines to resurface raised face flat face RTJ and specialty flanges
- Set up align and secure flange facing equipment according to manufacturer procedures
- Measure and verify flange dimensions surface finish and tolerances using precision instruments
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and work instructions
- Select appropriate tooling feeds speeds and cutting inserts for various materials
- Perform basic CNC conversational programming and editing as required
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers calipers height gauges indicators etc.)
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with engineering quality and production teams
- These are the key responsibilities but not limited to. This position at times may be asked to assist in other production areas utilizing their skills and knowledge
- Proven experience as a machinist in a job shop or manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Bridgeport knee mills
- Manual lathes
- Surface grinders
- Milltronics MB-20 CNC mills (or similar CNC milling machines)
- Ability to read and understand GD&T
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- CNC programming experience specific to Milltronics controls
- Experience machining a variety of materials (steel aluminum stainless plastics etc.)
- Formal machining or technical training
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Machine shop environment with exposure to noise cutting fluids and metal chips
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
