CNA Inpatient Rehab PRN

IMC is currently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Inpatient Rehabilitation on a PRN basis. The CNA is responsible for effectively interacting withthe patient significant others and other health team members whilemaintaining standards of professional will also use the knowledge and skills necessary to provide carebased on physical psycho/social education safety and related criteria forthe adult and geriatric population.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.
• 1-year previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistantis preferred.
• High School graduate preferred.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience preferred but not required.

• Identifies patient and family education needs and incollaboration with other disciplines initiates education needs according to theage of the patients.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

• Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of forceoccasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20pounds of force constantly to move objects.(Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) tomove objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for SedentaryWork. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount a jobshould be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to asignificant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time butentails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the jobrequires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushingand/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials isnegligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a productionrate pace especially in an industrial setting can be and is physicallydemanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.
