Intercity is a MicrosoftFirst MSP and our alliance with Microsoft is at the heart of our growth strategy. Were hiring a commercially driven strategically minded Microsoft Alliance Manager to elevate our partnership and turn alignment into real revenue margin and market advantage.

This is a highimpact externally focused role owning the Microsoft relationship across UK SME & C sectors. Youll work directly with senior Microsoft stakeholders while driving alignment across Sales Marketing Propositions and Leadership internally.

What Youll Own

Youll lead the entire Microsoft alliance strategy ensuring:

  • Strong execlevel engagement on both sides
  • Tight alignment between Microsoft priorities and Intercity growth goals
  • Maximum performance across funding programmes and incentives
  • Increased visibility of Intercitys capability and impact within the Microsoft ecosystem

This role blends strategic partnership leadership with commercial optimisation and growth delivery.

What Youll Do

1. Strategic Alliance Leadership

  • Build and execute a clear Microsoft alliance strategy aligned to Intercitys objectives
  • Map Microsoft sales plays to Intercity propositions & customer needs
  • Establish and maintain an exec engagement framework

2. Executive Relationship Management

  • Own senior relationships across Microsoft UK
  • Act as Intercitys senior advocate within the ecosystem
  • Ensure our value performance and growth potential are well understood and championed

3. Commercial Performance

  • Maximise CPOR PAL MCI funding COOP and other programmes
  • Drive optimised rebate & incentive performance
  • Own the execlevel scorecard for revenue margin and growth
  • Identify and lead performance improvement initiatives

4. Revenue & Pipeline Acceleration

  • Uncover growth opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Turn alignment into real pipeline through Sales Marketing & Propositions
  • Strengthen Marketplace positioning and winwire presence

5. AI & Innovation Leadership

  • Support and accelerate Intercitys Microsoft AI agenda (including Copilot)
  • Champion Microsoft AI positioning internally and externally
  • Stay ahead of Microsofts evolving priorities

6. Enablement & Market Insight

  • Equip internal teams with Microsoft programme knowledge
  • Monitor licensing incentives and competitive shifts
  • Feed insight into strategy and decisionmaking

About You

Youre commercially sharp strategically confident and credible in Microsoft environments. You understand how Microsoft really works. Structure incentives programmes and ecosystem and can convert partnership potential into tangible performance.

Experience

  • Proven Microsoft partner/alliance/channel management experience
  • Strong knowledge of incentive programmes partner centre licensing
  • Vendor management with commercial outcomes
  • Background in sales marketing or partnershipled growth
  • Experience across commercial and/or public sector
  • Comfortable influencing at exec level
