Who You Are

Youre a motivated professional with:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of general experience related to the construction of public works projects or a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Industrial Technology or a related field with specialization in construction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail

What Youll Do

In this position you wont just be watching from the sidelines. You will be the on-site technical expert ensuring that every project meets our high standards for safety and longevity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Precision Inspection: Perform detailed construction inspection and coordinate field/laboratory testing on construction materials.
• Drainage Expertise: Oversee and inspect drainage-related construction activities to ensure compliance with District standards.
• Surveying & Project Design Assessment: Conduct field survey parties review field data and translate findings into accurate construction drawings.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate work plans and construction schedules while assisting in securing necessary permits to keep projects moving forward.
• Technical Translation: Interpret construction plans and drawings and verify correct materials are utilized in construction.
• Documentation: Prepare reports official correspondence and maintain detailed project records.
