Position Purpose:
The Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation Functions within the standards policies procedures and guidelines of the organization.
What you will do:
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as
a. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or
b. RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
OR
2. Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as
a. RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or
b. RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
OR
3. ARDMS or CCI Board-eligible AND achieve certification within 12-months of hire
