The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Habitat and Access Technician for a six-month appointment based in Dubois Wyoming. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in one of Wyomings most scenic landscapes while directly contributing to wildlife conservation and public access efforts.
The Habitat and Access Technician performs a variety of land management practices that support the development enhancement and maintenance of Wildlife Habitat Management Areas (WHMAs) and Public Access Areas (PAAs). Responsibilities may include habitat improvement projects fence and irrigation system maintenance weed management operation of trucks and equipment and upkeep of roads parking areas and access sites.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors operating equipment and taking pride in maintaining quality habitat and recreational access for the public. Join us in helping conserve Wyomings wildlife resources and ensuring continued access for hunters anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.
