Are you interested in modern technologies eager to grow professionally and keen to contribute to meaningful projects across areas such as pharmaceuticals finance or utility If so youre in the right place we are looking for a Data Engineer who will participate in designing and developing solutions for processing large volumes of data using platforms like Databricks and modern cloud technologies.
What will your job look like
- Acquire clean and transform data from various sources for analytical and predictive models
- Develop data pipelines in the Databricks environment using tools such as DBT and Airflow
- Design and implement Proof of Concept as well as production solutions in AWS or Azure
- Automate data processing and support deployment of models into production (CI/CD DevOps)
- Consult technical requirements with analysts data scientists or clients and identify the best solutions
- Contribute to designing data architecture testing and performance optimization
All you need is...
- You have experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog Spark)
- You have a university degree in IT or a related field
- You have worked with cloud services AWS or Azure
- You are proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python (or R Scala Matlab)
- You have experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Knowledge of designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines ideally using DBT is an advantage
- You keep up with new trends in data technologies and enjoy learning new things
- You can communicate in English you will often interact with international colleagues and clients
- You are able to communicate in Czech language fluently
