Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients to oversee the development coordination and delivery of Weddings meetings and private events.
- Respond to inquiries prepare proposals negotiate contracts through to the event day
- Conduct site inspections and client presentations showcasing hotel facilities and services
- To produce detailed function sheets for each event and to send out in a timely fashion to then work in collaboration with our operations team to ensure the delivery of the event exceeds our clients expectations.
- Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
- To communicate maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
- To work as part of the sales team; to contribute to & assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
- Ensure there is fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Working knowledge of Opera / Opera Cloud
- Some knowledge of hotel sales channels DMCs IDeaS Cvent
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication negotiation and contract management skills
