Essential Criteria

Registered General Nurse
Be on the live register with National and Midwifery Board of Ireland
Have completed a post registration course in Diabetes or be willing to undertake one
Evidence of professional development to degree level is desirable
Have worked within the specialty for a minimum of 3 years desirable
Excellent inter-personal skills
Leadership and management skills
Knowledge of issues relating to nurse education and development
