Ability to work some mornings or evenings as needed (a few per semester).

Position Summary:

The duties of the University Student Aid are to obtain work experience on campus in offices labs gym the library and other areas. Duties may include assisting staff and faculty with preparation for research classroom instruction departmental operational needs or performing administrative and other support duties as required.

Special Programs is under the banner of the Honors College. Various organizations fall under Special Programs including pre-law American Democracy Project Model Arab League Model United Nations and Study Away.

The student must work a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Positions may be filled based on individual applicants skills qualifications and departmental needs.

Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Help with various specially assigned tasks.
Point of contact for Special Programs office.
Craft presentation materials.
Make copies and complete other remedial office tasks.
Other Additional Duties as required by the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three (3) hours per fall or spring semester. (Requirements for international students below. *)
If not a first-time student the applicant must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher.
Selected applicants must provide evidence of student enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or printout of enrollment/GPA from MyJSU.

Preferred Qualifications:

Marginal Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
