Job Summary:

The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics in Gynecology as part of the University of Wisconsin Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a candidate for part-time coverage of outpatient obstetrics and gynecology addition to direct patient care the role may also include supervision of an ambulatory resident Ob/Gyn continuity clinic and supervision and teaching of medical students. Duties of the position include a clinical practice in the diagnosis and treatment of normal obstetrics and gynecology and disorders related to the female reproductive system. Specific responsibilities of this position include outpatient case management and participation in teaching activities. This position may teach medical students interns and residents.

Negotiable 12 month

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed four-year approved/accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years experience specifically in the area of outpatient obstetrics and gynecologic care.

  • For appointment at Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.

Education:

  • MD/DO required
