Position Scope
Come utilize your interactive management style to partner with all departments including accounting finance operations and sales. Team up with the rest of the Executive Team on a daily basis as your goal is to improve margins to further enhance profitability as the company continues to scale. As the most crucial finance hire to date will work closely with the CEO VP of Operations VP of Business Development and Sr. Director of Procurement. Youll be in charge of the financial reporting package analytics to make data-driven decisions management reporting and quarterly board decks.

Responsibilities

• As Chief Financial Officer your day to day will include financial statement presentation for board meetings overseeing financial planning business operations analytics to make sound data driven decisions.
• You will work closely with other executives in formulating and executing our strategic business plans.
• Provide quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors Debt Holders and CEO while interpretating the results in a quantitative and qualitative manner.
• Act as a strategic partner to executive team and equity sponsor leverage relationships with lenders follow executive managements lead and continuously act as a driver in putting companys culture first.
• Giving direction to Controller ensure annual audits are completed timely resulting in GAAP financials being presented to the board outside shareholders banking partners and other key stakeholders.
• M&A experience is a plus as additional acquisitions are on the horizon.
• Oversee Corporate Controller and promote process improvement around warranty claims rebates co-op advertising expenses and proper allocation of absorption costs.
• Strategic partner to the VP of Operations when it comes to meeting production cost targets and enhance their ability to analyze pricing fluctuations
• Dive into the weeds when it comes to creating reporting around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that you will define.
• Lead projects related to financial planning accounting hierarchy and reporting systems.
• Supervise the management of inventory ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and validate the current internal inventory controls that are in place.

  Experience

• Experience working at a Private Equity portfolio company VC Backed or Public Company that has made acquisitions
• Strong leadership experience in a finance or accounting function.
• 15 years of experience
• A plus if you have worked for private equity backed construction engineering MEPs or other technical service organizations.
