Job Summary
Job Title: EEG Technologist
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation:
Local Pay: $52 $58/hour
Travel Pay: $70 $75/hour
Job Summary:
A leading healthcare facility in Syracuse NY is seeking a Registered EEG Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment with strong extension potential. The EEG Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests that measure electrical activity in the brain to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and continuous EEG recordings.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes.
Apply electrodes and ensure accurate data collection.
Monitor brain wave activity and identify abnormalities.
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Collaborate with neurologists and healthcare teams.
Ensure proper documentation and equipment maintenance.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong computer communication and critical thinking skills.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T) Required
BLS/CPR Certification Required
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience.
Comfortable with travel and/or relocation (for travel candidates).
