Job Summary
Position Summary
Methode Electronics is seeking a Finance Intern FP&A to support our financial planning forecasting and analysis processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in budgeting variance analysis and financial modeling offering exposure to strategic decision-making within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of financial models forecasts and budgets.
- Support monthly and quarterly variance analysis to assess financial performance.
- Prepare management reports dashboards and presentations with key financial insights.
- Conduct cost analysis revenue trends evaluation and margin analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Research industry and economic trends to support strategic financial planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau preferred).
- Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Given the hands-on experience and exposure that this internship opportunity provides the position is based on site 5 days a week.
Note: Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a permanent basis post-graduation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
