Pay:$20.00 - $35.00 per flag hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components in vehicles including wiring lighting sensors and control modules.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments such as brake and suspension work wheel alignments and fluid changes.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and follows manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs parts used and services performed.
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates for services.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary automotive training is a plus.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician particularly in electrical and electronic systems.
• ASE certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
